The Challenges

In addition to the team competition, there are also
two “tournaments within the tournament.” 

The Carolina Cup pits members of the
American Legion against those of the VFW
for a friendly team competition.

The “Branch Challenge” will find which branch of service
has the best golfers. Will it be the Army, Navy, Air Force,
Marines or Coast Guard?


In 2011, the V.F.W. retained The CUP with their SEVENTH victory in the last EIGHT years,
while the ARMY gained control of The Branch Challenge.
