A Day at the Beach with Paige Spiranac

Paige Spiranac’s recent trip to Myrtle Beach wasn’t all about golf. As part of her continuing quest to learn more about all the great attractions the Myrtle Beach area has to offer, she made it a point to take time to unwind. And what better place to do that than the beach?

Paige’s introduction to the Grand Strand beach scene was the beautiful sandy stretch of Huntington Beach State Park in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. Here’s what she had to say about the experience:

It was nice going to the beach … we drove through what was like a national park almost. Everyone was taking pictures of birds and such, and then all of a sudden you turn the corner and there’s this beautiful beach.

It was clean and more relaxing because it was quieter … and the water was a little bit warmer than what I’m used to in San Diego!

I know my golf courses, and can tell you about every different type of grasses that are on golf courses, but when it comes to beaches I’m not a pro!
