Saving the Best for Last
The layout is strong throughout, but the day reaches a crescendo with the par 3 17th and par 5 18th. The 17th features a peninsula green that is vaguely reminiscent of golf’s most famed island green at TPC Sawgrass, so trust your swing and try to stay dry. On the finishing hole, a creek bisects the fairway approximately 250 yards from the white tees and it empties into a lake that runs up the left side of the hole. The 18th is an exhilarating finish to an outstanding round of golf.

DJ called the course home for years and his namesake golf school and junior golf tournament are hosted at TPC Myrtle Beach.
