Beginning April 2017, Hartford, Connecticut will enjoy nonstop flight service to Myrtle Beach on Spirit Air, allowing golfers to be on the first tee less than three hours after takeoff.
The seasonal service will begin April 28, and Spirit will fly from Hartford’s Bradley International Airport four days a week - Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday - providing a nonstop link between Myrtle Beach and the Nutmeg State.
Spirit, an ultra low cost carrier, carries more golfers to Myrtle Beach than any other airline. With the new nonstop service, Spirit now offers nonstop service to Myrtle Beach from 17 different markets.
Nonstop service is a boon for traveling golfers, who can depart from chilly Hartford and be on the first tee enjoying the Grand Strand’s subtropical climate in mere hours.
Some of the best Myrtle Beach golf courses are located within 10 miles of the airport, making a day-of-arrival round of golf even easier.
Spirit now offers service to Myrtle Beach from Atlantic City, Baltimore, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, New York City, Fort Lauderdale, Niagara Falls, Latrobe, Newark, Akron-Canton, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Plattsburgh and Charleston.
With spring on the horizon, seasonal service to Myrtle Beach is set to begin from 34 cities.
