#TipTuesday: Paige Spiranac With The Easiest Driver Tip Ever

June 26, 2018

Want to be more consistent on the tee box? Watch as Paige Spiranac shows you the easiest and best driver tip she’s ever received.

Hi everyone, it’s Paige. I’m going to give you the most basic, easiest tip of all time. It’s one of my main swing thoughts when I’m out on the golf course, and it’s so simple, but you don’t really think about it.

Hold your follow through. It’s as simple as that.

There are so many shots where I get around here, and I don’t feel like I’m on plane, or it doesn’t feel comfortable, and so I either kind of push my hips forward and just let go of it, and I’ll lose it right, or I’ll try to save it and flip it left. But I don’t ever hold my follow through. So, a tip I got from my pro, and it honestly changed my swing, was you want to feel like the shaft hits the back of your hat, or your visor. So you’re here, and you’re holding it there.

It’s really that simple. But by doing that it ensures that you’re committing to the shot. A lot of people aren’t fully committed. And this really gets you all the way up on your front foot, you’re there, you’re solid, you’re steady, and you’re holding it. And it gives you a better shot of actually hitting a good shot. Again, it is so simple and so easy, but most people fall out of their shot, or they’re just not fully committed to it.

So, I’ll show you one. Okay. All I’m thinking about is getting the shaft along the back of my hat. I can’t do much better than that. But again, I was so focused on the finish of my swing, it made me feel like I had to commit to it, because if you feel like you’re thinking of something back here, you kind of let it go. But if you’re thinking about your finish, you have to commit to it. You have to get on that front foot, which is the most important thing. So, easiest tip you can do. I’m sure it will help. Hopefully it will help. It’s definitely helped me. So try it out!
